In 2007, our group of experts in the field of architecture, advanced technologies, sustainable development and design established the KošorokGartner architectural office.
At the same time, BIM (Building Information Modelling) appeared on the horizon of the design world, which had previously illuminated the western hemisphere. In the KošorokGartner bureau, we managed to recognize that it is not a fad but rather a process that has irrevocably changed the existing approach to planning, building and maintenance of buildings (Facility Management).
The BIM model represents a harmonized 3D model of an object equipped with information. It consists of various sub-modules of construction structures, electrical installations, machine installations, etc. Through CDE (Common Data Environment), all participants in the project have direct access to the BIM model. The team works effectively, as all important decisions are taken in one place! Planning in BIM enables detection and repair of errors already in the initial phases of design, and consequently, the number of problems that can occur during construction is reduced, while the construction costs remain within the envisaged frames. The BIM model can be easily upgraded into an object management model. Thus, it offers an investor numerous advantages in all phases of the project!
Connecting the BIM model with virtual reality enables us to move ourselves and the customer into the object or the the space we design. The customer experiences his/her object even before it is built and thus becomes part of the creative process. Both for us and our clients, VR provides the best possible feeling of space and an additional possibility of detecting problems before they appear on the construction site, where the elimination of errors, if at all possible, requires a lot of time and money.
