The signing of the agreement

Center for Energy Efficient solution (CER) and the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation (PA2F) signd a Memorandum of Understanding during the Bled Strategic Forum in September 2019.
 
 
Document represents a solid base for a truthful cooperation and development of complementary and synergic activities in the field of sustainable development.
 
The agreement that extends the cooperation and the exchange of information between CER, represented by Gregor Benčina, Vice-President of the CER Council, Chairman of the Slovenijales Group and the PA2F, represented by H.E. Bernard Fautrier, Vice President and  Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, Minister Plenipotentiary and Special Advisor for Sustainable Development to the Prime Minister of Monaco, represents a step towards closer cooperation in the field related to climate change challenges, and includes a commitment to develop and promote innovative green solutions, especially  in the fields of construction and mobility as well as in all issues of common interest related to sustainable development.

As a result of the MOU a special committee will be named which will take care for the common projects supported by the two organizations. They will strive for technical, scientific and methodological cooperation which will enable them to combine or commonly utilize their knowledge and expertise. They will also agree to participate in the communication of common content, use of common communication tools, knowledge development and exchange of experiences at conferences, round tables in symposiums on topics related to the main activity areas of the two partners.

The official signing of the co-operation agreement was held by the Vice President and the CEO of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, H.E. Bernard Fautrier and the CER President Rok Vodnik and CER Vice President Gregor Bencina on Tuesday 3.9. at 13.00 at the Villa Lastovka in Bled, Slovenia.

 
 
 
 "The signing of the agreement is an exceptional opportunity and an important initial step in addressing sustainability issues together with CER. We need to escape the carbon society and move towards a more sustainable lifestyle by reducing our daily emissions. By connecting with our Slovenian partner, we are becoming even more aware of the possible solutions that will shape our future. On this occasion, we also got to know two examples of good practice in Slovenia that we will try to introduce in Monaco.”
