Renault offers the widest range of electric vehicles on the Slovenian market for a wide variety of urban mobility needs: the Twizy four-wheeler, the all-round ZOE and the Kangoo Z.E. and Master Z.E. urban delivery vehicles.
However, Renault Group did not focus solely on vehicle development, but actively participates in the whole chain of creators in modern mobility and renewable energy sources. Thus, the Renault Group, as a leader in electrical mobility in Europe, reaches beyond the role of electric car maker, as in partnership with its partners it is becoming an active partner in smart electric and energy ecosystems.
With the Advanced Battery Storage program, Renault Group builds a stationary system for storing electricity exclusively with the use of electric vehicle batteries. The purpose of this system is to manage the differences between consumption and production of energy at a given time in order to increase the total share of electricity from renewable sources. This means maintaining the balance between supply and demand in the electric power grid, while at the same time including the integration of various energy sources with fluctuating production capacities.
With the innovative Sustainable Smart Island Program, the Renault Group is promoting the lowering of carbon footprint through smart grids and smart solutions in the islands of Porto Santo and Belle-Île-en-Mer. On both islands, to increase energy independence and to promote clean energy production, electric cars, second-generation batteries, smart charging and vehicle battery participation in network supply (V2G) are used.

Today, we have a wide range of 100% electric vehicles available to cover all the specific needs of a wide variety of users. In accordance with the medium-term strategy, Renault will offer 20 models of electric vehicles by 2022, of which 8 will be completely (100%) electric. At Nissan, we will also present eight models of fully electric vehicles, with the ambition to sell over one million electric vehicles annually.
