About project
DESIRE is one of the six projects within the European Commission initiative New European Bauhaus (NEB). NEB wants to connect the worlds of the arts, culture and education with science and technology. The initiative will create more sustainable, inclusive and pleasant premises at locations across the EU and include citizens in the green transition on the local level.
In total, 23 partners from six EU Member States will take part in the DESIRE 24project , creating new standards and developing methods for broader urban development renovation and construction.
The DESIRE project deals with three topics and exploits eight existing projects for transformation of towns and living laboratories. In doing so, we use deisgn methods in co-creation activities involving local inhabitants and shareholders. The voices of different professions will be included in order to inspire, challenge and qualify what we do. We will use digital engagement tools to collect ideas, images and impressions.
