The main purpose of the SmartMOVE project is to prepare strategies for and implement mobility plans, with which it will justify the need for systematic development of the infrastructure for the development of multimodality in the region. The system of dynamic group transport is developed within the group as a sustainable alternative to the existing transport modalities. Concrete political recommendations are also prepared for policymakers in the field of sustainable mobility. By drawing up mobility plans for sustainable mobility management at locations with more traffic, the project will contribute to better mobility management. The main project goal to limit the negative environmental impacts resulting from unsustainable forms of mobility, as well as the long-term development of sustainable mobility, to which it will contribute in various ways.
Expected project results:
Raising awareness about the meaning of sustainable mobility among employers and employees and preparation of a procedure for acquisition of the certificate for sustainable mobility.
Methodology design and drawing up sustainable plans for organisations that employ a high number of people and are situated at traffic junctions.
A pilot establishment of a solution for sustainable mobility for transport to work in the Regional Development Agency of Ljubljana Urban Region with dynamic group transport.
Preparation of recommendations for strategic guidelines of the competent bodies of the RS in the field of sustainable mobility and proposals for the improvement and upgrading of the existing integrated transport strategy of the Ljubljana Urban Region.
